Thoracentesis Training and Demonstration Simulator

Designed specifically to demonstrate and teach the theory anatomy and skills needed to pneumothorax centesis exhaust and thoracic puncture drainage.

Features:

• Standard posture with lifelike anatomical landmarks including sternum clavicle ribs and pleura cavity.
• The right side of the manikin has two cut-away viewing areas to provide awareness of the anatomical relationships between skin surface musculature ribs veins nerves and lungs.
• Two puncture sites include:

– Pneumothorax centesis in the second intercostal space in the midclavicular line.
– Thoracic centesis in the fifth sixth and seventh intercostal space between the linea postaxillaris and midaxillaris.
• Make the trainee to clearly understand the relevant anatomical structure in order to avoid vascular injuries and surrounding tissues.
• Using pump bulbs to simulate penumothorax and liquid to thoracic close drainage.
• The skin pad is replaceable.
